On September 13th, 2004 Lee & White® begins a detailed research into the adherence of Belgian websites to current laws concerning data protection, privacy and content liability. Lee & White is preparing a report on this subject to be published in the beginning of 2005.

Research thus far shows that 95% of the Belgian websites fail to comply with the EU Directive on data protection and the Belgian law on Privacy Protection in relation to the Processing of Personal Data.
